Test your child's Cognitive ability for a better future!
Cognitive ability-what do you understand by this? It is nothing but the ability of a human mind to process the thoughts in the mind to his/her advantage. This is the distinct ability that human beings have. We can process the thoughts better than any other animal. We can make the best use of the thoughts in our mind by thinking rationally. Etymologically speaking, the word Cognizance is derived from the Latin word “cognoscere” which means 'to know'. We, as human beings have been blessed with the skill to identify things, learn, apply the knowledge and use it according to the situation. This is something that has helped us constantly evolve as a race, unlike much of the animal kingdom. Cognitive abilities are all about the flow of information in the mind and how people use it. A number of aptitude tests are available these days that have been created with the aim to assess the cognitive abilities and other skills. Conducting these tests on children from a very young age would help us get a peek into their minds. It would enable us with valuable information about the child's mind, which would further help us devise the best possible strategy for helping them learn and acquire knowledge. This is the best way to help a child reach their true potential.Once you determine what the “strengths” and “weaknesses” of a child are, you would be on the right path to guide them in the best possible manner. Equipped with a clear idea about the potential of the student, you could put their skills to the best use. A lot of people around the world face a terrible condition called dyslexia. People suffering from this condition often lack the ability to read and write properly. They often get perplexed with words, letters or numbers. They may have trouble with mathematics and may finding even the simple sums as mind numbing. Though it is not a serious medical condition as it is made out to be, and has no connection with general intelligence, there's a lot of social stigma attached to it. Although it has no cure, the problem could be assuaged or mitigated through specialized teaching methods involving spelling tests and cognitive abilities test. To make every child a reader, use these tests to their best advantage!
